Only a week since our last quarterly cleanup, and already THREE new tangles of nets and ropes have washed into the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, as well as a lot of trash and derelict fishing gear. We will do our best to clean this up bit by bit over the next few weeks, but this requires many hands. And this is happening at all our beautiful beaches! The next time you head to a beach, please bring a bag and pick up any trash you see. You will feel good when you look back and see a stretch of clean beach!
