Five Coral Restoration Modules Planted in Hanauma Bay
On 4 April, 2023, the remaining five modules of endemic brown lobe coral in the landmark Hanauma Bay coral restoration project were outplanted in the Bay. Funded by Friends of Hanauma Bay, we extend a heartfelt thank you to our partners in the Hawaii Coral Restoration Nursery and the Kahiau Foundation for collaborating with us on this historic project.
